Whats On

Music features highly in the Tyn-y-Capel.

We have occasional band nights in the bar area featuring the best of local rock, blues, and party music.

Every Sunday night sees the traditional Minera Community Quiz which is a must for trivia and quiz addicts..

Out all day every day throughout the summer months we have our own Disco Dome Bouncy Castle to keep the young one amused while you enjoy our fine drinks and fantastic views.

We have both Pool and Dart teams that play at the Tyn Y Capel in our dedicated sports bar – Please ask staff for details.

Being a community -focused pub, we are very keen to see our facilities used by groups and clubs for their own events.

One such example is the Tyn-y-Capel Wine Circle.

The Wine Circle is a group of people with an interest in tasting, discussing and enjoying wine.

The group meets once a month, normally on the first Wednesday, either by themselves, or with invited guests such as the Tyn’s Wine Supplier, or other local suppliers.

A typical evening is very much an informal social occasion.

The Wine Circle has an Annual Subscription of £12.50 and charges just £4.50 per meeting to cover the cost of wine and the meeting room. During the course of a typical meeting around 6 small glasses of wine will be offered. Funds raised during the year are used to make the Wine Circle Christmas Party one to remember!

New members will be made very welcome and you are invited to contact the Wine Circle by email at tynwine@outlook.com

Sport features prominently on our large tv screens – just sample the Tyn atmosphere when Wales is playing (especially England…)
